Water can be extremely powerful! As water moves towards the coastline in the form of waves, it is a very strong force. This power hitting the rock comes down like a hammer, chipping away at the rock! 🙂

water erodes rocks by causing a process called weathering, this is when rain constantly hits the rock and causes it to start ‘breaking down’ and chipping away. As michelle says water can be a very powerful force, this force not only chips away but it removes the pieces and carries it away
