      excellent question. the amount of work scientists are doing to answer this is incredible. i like one novel method which is to use bacteriophages. bacteriophages are small viruses that target certain bacteria and kill them. although there is concerns of using them. i think some places in Russia actually use then to treat skin infections from burns. that’s pretty cool
