Viscose is a semi-synthetic fibre made from cellulose. It absorbs water into the micropores in the fibres, making it a “breathable fabric”. This makes it good as the layer of clothing against your skin (the base layer) because it would absorb sweat. Is this what you mean?

hi purplepanda1 can you explain what you mean by viscose. do you mean it as in the fabric like explained by Natalie or do you mean viscosity as in thickness of water and fluids?
