Question: How did the whale on the beach inspire you?

I was eight years old, and so very tiny compared to the whale. I remember looking up at it and thinking, what else could be hiding in the big ocean? It felt very real to me then. Ever since, I have been fascinated with marine life and curious as to how they live their lives. I still ask the same question now, as we still don’t know very much about life in the oceans.
