Of course not! But I did get started a high pressure experiment on my beamline this morning, but only after managing to send two children to school (dressed and fed, more or less) ad I even started a laundry load! I am currently battling with a paper that i am trying to write. I get a very nice result but I still don’t understand really how it comes about… it really bugs me not to understand something… I my free time, I am reading or re-reading book that hopefully will give me ideas for better explaining the science that I do. Just kidding, I am mostly on twitter these days. Have a nice day, time go pick up the kids, and then check the data from my laptop on the kitchen counter!
I’m a little nervous for I’m a Scientist, if I’m being honest! I normally do talks face to face with students so I’m not used to talking using a chat. But I really like that you can talk to so many students at once. I’ve signed up to as many chats as I can fit in so I hope I can make scientists seem like normal people and do that for a lot of pupils.
having never done something like this before I am looking forward to it. I just hope I can find the time during working hours to participate in the chats
