I love science! I think it is important to remember that science is not a cookie cutter topic, meaning that it comes in all forms. Just because you do not like one aspect of science does not mean that you do not like ALL science, it just means that you do not like that type of science. For example, I do not like using microscopes. I think that they are extremely useful, but I am just not good at it. I think that there is a part of science that can excite just about everyone, the tricky part sometimes is finding it! For me I love that I spend everyday trying to understand and identify the unkown, there is just so much we still do not know!

Yes! There is a lot of hard work, but often the hard work is rewarded. Contributing new knowledge to the world is very exciting!

Yes, not only do I enjoy microbiology based science but I enjoy learning about science as a whole. There is so much you can learn with so many different ‘areas’ to choose from. even if you don’t like science as a career there is so much that you can explore that you will find something that you find interesting and enjoyable.

Yes! I have have always liked it, from school. I would ask for grow your own crystal sets and things like that from Argos for my birthday and Christmas. And now I get to do experiments in real life!

I like science but I am curious about many different subjects. I think science gives me the most satisfaction because there is a sense that we can have opinion but at some point an experiment will tells us who is right and who’s wrong (and it doesn’t matter if you are wrong, you are going to enjoy the discovery in any case!).
